Making comics into movies has been a smart move by these companies. We've seen the success of Marvel so it is about time DC also started to cash in on this.
So, who is playing who? or is it whom.. who knows. lol Here is the official cast and their characters.

One of the other exciting things about the news is that David Ayer is going to be directing. And yes, I'm geeking out a little bit because I have been a fan for awhile. You may not know his name, but you know some of the movies he's directed.
He also wrote a few titles including the two above movies and U-571, The Fast and the Furious, and Training Day... just to name a few.
The film’s storyline follows a group of villains who take on dangerous black op missions for the government in return for reduced jail sentences.
Ayer is also writing the script and he has done a great job of testing the line between what people consider good vs evil in some of his past work. I am curious about the script because the concept of can a villain be a hero and can a bad guy do good things is really intriguing to me. I hope this script will really push and test that line/concept because this is in basic terms a movie about can a villain be a hero.
With this strong cast ensemble and with a strong director/writer in Mr. Ayer... I think this needs to be on everyone's watch list for 2016.
